Apologies, it's been soo long since my last post :) . Well since then, I've purchased a new lens. I was like a kid on Christmas morning the day it arrived. The sun has been shinning and I've been thoroughly enjoying playing with my new toy, so here a a few snaps from the weekend.

I love Rome, such a beautiful City. Couldn't stop taking pictures everywhere I went. The food is fabulous too, but watch out for traffic, scary streets.
The famous Trevi fountain. Great to see in reality, lots of tourists here. Why don't they make things like this anymore? Modern shmodern...!

Wedding prep

My first wedding shoot is coming up next month and I've been scouring the internet for as much information and inspiration as my brain can soak up. I've found this website in particular to be the most helpful. It has soo much useful information and many photographers that are extremely generious with their time and knowledge.

Two Blue

Another nature pic I worked on to add to my website. I used photoshop to turn the swans around and adjusted curves, saturation, contrast and sharpened slightly. This site is a work in progress, but I'm getting there. http://www.beuphotography.com

Communion

Another First Communion. I love doing these shoots. The kids are so excited about their big day, getting dressed up and hanging out with their family and friends. It's a great time to get that family portrait too. The Hoban Family were no exception and their tastfully matching outfits were adoreable.

Saoirse's Communion Shoot

Had loads of fun last week with my little friend Saoirse when we did a shoot at her home. She had soo much fun on the day of her First Communion that they never had a chance to take a nice photo of her in the dress. So glammed up in the glad rags again Saoirse did her thang and we had lots of fun getting the perfect photo for her mum Niamh. Below is my favourite from the session.
