Scottish Salsa Congress 3 - Best parties ever!

Back again, third year running for the amazing Scottish Salsa Congress organised by Salsasuave in Edinburgh and it just keeps getting better! The performances were again outstanding, the band was a very welcome addition along with the new dance floor. The dancing was superb and DJ's really knew how to keep the party going till the early hours. I feel a especially lucky to have been there for the best Salsa parties ever! Mark and Dee's Wedding - Galway - Wedding photography by Dee Organ

Happy New year everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and are full of high hopes for the year ahead. One of my favourite weddings of 2010 was Dee and Mark's big day. They tied the knot in the beautiful Claddagh Church on the fringes of Galway city on a sunny Saturday in August. It was such a pleasure working with Dee, Mark and their friends. They were up for a laugh and even went on the swings for a cute shot. Another big - little - highlight was having their adorable son Zack with us. He was so cute in the suit that matched dad's and he loved his new shiny shoes. Here are just a few from their great day...

I really enjoyed doing this shoot and getting creative in the studio again. Claire was amazing on Make Up and Samantha and Ricky were fantastic models. The deference between shooting family portraits and models is huge. The models just know what to do, it was soo easy for me to work with these guys.Thanks for being so great and turning my ideas into reality despite the cold studio and the time pressures :D

Lighting set up consisted of two back lights from either side and one behind me, camera right and high.
